Age 70, Dr. Yendluri Sudhakar Rao has a noble cause of teaching English to socially and economically backward students in Andhra Pradesh. He, through his non-profit organization makes Sudhakar Rao conduct free English lessons to countless students who otherwise would be bound by the restraints of lack of English knowledge, and therefore would be unable to seek better developments in their lives. Enabling Families: Nature Adventure Activities for Children by Nehal Shah
Nehal Shah, a Mumbai-based woman, is revolutionizing family vacations by conducting various nature-based activities not only for children above a certain age but even for babies. Unable to find facilities which encourages very young children to be active outdoors, she resolved to create Heart and Soil: its activates include trekking, camping, as well as wildlife safaris. Since its start, which is in the year 2016, the organization has over thousands of families to engage in these activities. Nehal is of the opinion that learning from such experiences will make children become more resilient and adaptable in the future. It also cultivates a parent’s responsibility to tell stories that go beyond screens and to take children outside, creating “unforgettable experiences”.
