At the same time, Best Film went to Ranbir Kapoor’s movie ‘Animal’ which managed to gain a total of six awards. Best Actress went to Rani Mukerji. Shah Rukh Khan was seen co-hosting the event with Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar who also invited several performers on stage. Among other winners, Vidhu Vinod Chopra received the award for Best Director and Anil Kapoor for Best Supporting Actor as the night went ahead to embrace Indian cinema.
