Growing up, Savita went to school that was four kilometers away and so she had to climb that distance every day. It developed her love for mountains. Although she was looked down on by society, she went on to be the very figure that many women climbers look up to. Her emotional note states however inability to practice such dreams does not mean in any way that one should stop dreaming such. It shows how attaining success makes some people who worked against you and your community think and inspire them for the good.
